“At MC Cutting Horses, I ask my horses to perform at the very highest level every single day. They give me everything they have, and I believe it’s my responsibility to give them the best nutrition possible in return. Since switching to Cowboy’s Choice Feed, I’ve seen noticeable improvements in their energy, focus, muscle condition, and recovery. My horses stay sounder, feel better, and are able to perform consistently over long show seasons. The longevity and future of my horses are critical to my sport and my business—and Cowboy’s Choice Feed plays a key role in helping us achieve that.”
California Dreaming
Born and raised in Valencia, California, Morgan Cromer’s connection to horses began early under the guidance of her mother, Patricia Cromer, an accomplished hunter-jumper rider. Morgan started showing ponies at just four years old and competed in the English disciplines until a family friend introduced her to the sport of cutting at age ten—a turning point that would shape her future.
As a teenager, Morgan spent her summers working for respected cutting horse trainers Russ Westfall and Scott Weis, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. After graduating high school, she returned to the Westfall Ranch in Los Olivos, California, where she worked full-time for six years, sharpening her horsemanship and developing the foundation that would later define her program.
Dedication Pays Off
Morgan’s commitment to excellence paid off early, with her first futurity win coming at just 22 years old. In 2007, she took a bold step and launched her own training operation, turning a childhood dream into a thriving professional career.
Before the age of 30, Morgan was inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame after surpassing $1 million in career earnings—becoming only the fourth woman in history to reach that milestone. In 2014 alone, she added more than $300,000 to her earnings, further cementing her place among the sport’s elite.
Today, Morgan credits her continued success not only to relentless work ethic and loyalty to her clients, but also to making smart, intentional choices for her horses—including nutrition. By feeding Cowboy’s Choice Feed, Morgan ensures her horses have the fuel they need to perform at their peak, recover faster, and sustain long, successful careers in the cutting pen.
