This feed is designed to be fed to livestock as a fiber supplement.

Cowboy Red Pellets are an excellent fiber supplement to your Horse’s pasture forage and hay or simply as a dietary treat. Working horses are suggested to have a ration of up to 11.5 % protein. Most alfalfa hay and grain mix have too much protein for the horse to utilize.

Feeding Pellets with good quality hay and forage makes for a more balanced diet with the desirable protein levels. Almond Hulls are a highly digestible fiber source that horses love to eat! Feeding trials with almond hulls have shown to be highly palatable, safe and high in digestible fiber with less starch, making them a calmer feed source than most grains. They give your horse great energy with better digestion. Pellets are easy to store, easy to feed and produce less waste than long stem hay.
