    Kaylee Dawson

Barrel racer chasing tenths of a second

    About

Kaylee grew up on a cattle operation outside Stephenville and ran her first barrel pattern at age six on a borrowed ranch gelding. Now 24, she competes on the pro rodeo circuit with a string of three horses she trained herself. She credits her results to consistency: the same routine, the same warm-up, and the same feed program every week of the season. When she isn’t on the road, she runs youth barrel clinics across North Texas.
